Sponsor List
Sponsor Letter Thank you for visiting! We’d like to give you a brief overview of what we do and how you can help.
Established in 1996, North American Chinese Soccer League (NACSL) is a non-profit organization promoting soccer among Chinese communities in the US, and organizing a Grand Tournament every year on Labor Day weekend.
The Grand Tournament is widely regarded as the most competitive Chinese soccer tournament in the US, and attracts teams from almost all major geographical regions of the US. For example, the tournament has consistently attracted about 12 teams, a total of approximately 300 players, every year from California, New York, Illinois, Texas, Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana, to name a few, as well as Canada, over the past several years.
Up to date, the sources of funding for Grand Tournament have included primarily team registration fee ($500 for each team), and in some cases, sponsorship from regional Chinese Consulate General and WanXiang Auto , which cover field rental, referees, trophies, and other related expenses. To reduce the burden on participating teams and ensure the long-term success of the event, we’d like to start actively seeking sponsorship ranging from monetary support to various merchandises. If your products or services could be of particular or general interest to the Chinese community (a good example would be an insurance company offering emergency insurance to visiting parents), we may be able to help get your message through. The following are some of the channels that we can offer: A link and a banner on this website and NACSL website, which receives roughly 500 hits per day Coverage by Chinese newspapers, radio stations, and online journals The tournament cup named after the major sponsor Banners around the venue Outreach to the Chinese soccer community in the US by word-of-mouth If you are willing to sponsor the event and help propel NACSL to the next level, please contact Walter Yuan at 626-215-2163, or drop us an email at wmyuan at caltech.edu. Your kindly contribution will be greatly appreciated. Sincerely, NACSL Committee

Team group assignment
Use the 1st number of California MegaMillion Lotto from Tuesday, Oct 21, 2008 , to determine the date from which we take the Daily 3 Evening numbers. For example, if the 1st number is 10, we will start taking the Daily 3 numbers from 10 days before the day we do the drawing, i.e. Oct 21, 2008, and continue taking numbers from the previous days until all drawings are done. Past results can be obtained from http://www.calottery.com/Games/dailythree/winningnumbers/dailythreeeve.htm.
The assignment scheme works as follows. For every team, the Daily 3 number mod 2 determines its group (Group A = 0; Group B =1). For an example, if the daily 3 number mod 2 is 0 for LA Reds FC is 0, the team will be in Group A, otherwise Group B.
The draw stops when one group is filled with 4 teams and rest of the un-assigned teams will be automatically in the other group.
Group game order . The order of the group games will be randomly (daily 3 mod by 6) selected from the following 6 possibilities.
Round 1: 1-2 & 3-4; Round 2: 1-3 & 2-4; Round 3: 1-4 & 2-3.
Round 1: 1-2 & 3-4; Round 2: 1-4 & 2-3; Round 3: 1-3 & 2-4.
